Merle Hanson, representative from Lake Maude, presented Scuba rules. Rules state that watercraft remain 150 ft. from a scuba diving flag. Scuba flags were displayed. Further information can be acquired on web site—MNDNR.Gov/boating.

Paula attended the COLA presentation at Lake Melissa and reported on the new method being used for a central system. Discussion followed. Jason will email the County requesting an inspection of septic systems on Holiday Beach.

Rhonda has many pictures she is preparing for the Website.

Tom distributed a publication, Shoreline Guides, to BCLA members. It will be available the Annual Meeting.

Dennis reported that the FM Walleye Tournament will be September 26 with 90 to 100 teams. Following a discussion on the presence of Zebra Mussels in Pelican Lake, Joe suggested that Steve and Dennis visit with DNR for information on what our Association can do to prevent infestation on Big Cormorant.

Carol reported that she continues to monitor and update the database.

Jason will again distribute door hangers to residents prior to Spring Fling.

Zoning and Planning Chair, Lyle Hansen, reported that nothing can be changed or added from the first 50 ft. of shoreline. In other words, nothing can be moved there, built there or even trees cut. Board of Adjustments does the variances. Cormorant Township only does the hearings and approves or disapproves.
