The BCLA is in the process of setting up a Charitable Foundation in conjunction with the West Central Initiative.  Objectives of the foundation are listed below.  We are seeking 2 more lake residents who would be willing to serve on the board of this foundation.  This board would make all decisions as to what projects to spend money donated to the Foundation we should fund.  If you would be williing to serve, please send me an email to president@bigcormorant.com

• To improve the quality of life in and around Big Cormorant Lake in Becker County, Minnesota.
• To protect and preserve the diverse water and land resources of the area.
• To provide education to property owners on constructively nurturing and developing their lake property and encouraging land and water stewardship.
• To continually monitor environmental concerns
• To monitor water quality.
• To Solicit funds to accomplish these objectives.
