The Big Cormorant Lake Area Foundation is a fund of West Central Initiative, a 501(c)(3) non-profit regional foundation. The
BCLAF is dedicated to protecting and preserving the diverse water and land resources of the lake for our enjoyment, as well
as those who come after us.
Leaving One's Legacy
The Big Cormorant Area Foundation enables us to be good stewards of the natural resources, which benefits everyone, and
becomes our legacy for future generations. Our gifts to the Fund are tax deductible to the extent allowed by the IRS.
What is the BCLAF?
The BLCAF consists of a volunteer Board of two Big Cormorant Lake Association board members and three non-board members who own
property on the lake. These five people form an Advisory Committee which makes recommendations to the Board of Directors of
West Central Initiative concerning projects by the BCLAF, among other educational and promotional activities.
